The Technology and Quality Up gradation support for MSMEs is the initiatives announced by the National Manufacturing Competitiveness Programme (NMCP) to improve the cost of Production & to adopt clean development mechanism.
The primary goal of the scheme is to sensitize and encourage the producing MSME region in India to use Energy efficient technologies and manufacturing process so that it will reduce the cost of manufacturing and emissions.
The second objective of the scheme is to create cognizance and encourage the MSMEs to acquire product certification/ licenses from national/ worldwide bodies.
