Skill Upgradation & Quality Improvement And Mahila Coir Yojana (MCY)

Mahila coir yojana (MCY) scheme is out for women to help them become self-employment in coir industries. The main aim of this scheme is to help women of rural households to become self-employment in producing of coir fibre in coir industry. With this scheme it will help women and also help provide women employment in large scale, which also leads to boost up – productivity and quality, better working conditions for the women, higher income for them as well.

This scheme is specially brought by the government through the coir board under its coir Vikas Yojana for rural household women.
