Approach

• The main aim of this scheme is to check the manufacturing system, a improve every detailed step by step procedures and achieve and implementing all the lean techniques (TPM), Just in time, Cellular layout, etc.,)
• Special purpose vehicle will be built.
• As MSMEs are unaware about this scheme, if they get introduced with the benefits and savings that comes from lean techniques then they also can continue with the scheme as well.
• The implementing structure is 3 tires, with a group of 10 or MSMEs – lowest local tier (Lean manufacturing screening and steering committee SSC) – higher tier the intermediate tier, national monitoring and implementing unit (NMIU) is responsible for implementing facilitating and monitoring the scheme.
