SECTOR

• The Coir Udyami Yojana, a Central Sector Scheme, will be administered by the Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises.
• The national Nodal Agency for the Scheme will be the Coir Board, a statutory institution under the Ministry of MSME.
• The scheme will be carried out at the state level by the Board's Regional Offices, Sub Regional Offices, the Coir Mark Scheme Office, District Industries Centers, Coir Project Offices, Banks, and other offices.
• Government subsidies received by Coir Board under the plan will be routed through selected banks before being distributed to beneficiaries/entrepreneurs in their bank accounts.

The Implementing Agencies, which include Coir Board Offices, DICs, and Coir Project Offices, will work with reputable Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), Autonomous Institutions, National Small Industries Corporations, Panchayati Raj Institutions, and other relevant bodies to carry out the Scheme, particularly in the areas of beneficiary identification and specific viable projects.
