The main objective of this scheme was toward empowering Footwear, Tanneries, Footwear parts, Leather merchandise and frill, Leather saddler and Leather articles of clothing fabricating units to update themselves prompting Productive increases, Cost cutting, Design, Right-measuring of limit and improvement including at the same time urging business visionaries to enhance and set up new units in the spaces as indicated.
The Primary objective of this scheme is to create employment opportunity in the leather industry.
Since 2005 interestingly the plan will be carried out through a paperless framework utilizing this online entryway with the dynamic interface of PIU, Applicant units, and DIPP.
